Born to Explore is an immersive exhibition about the human instinct to discover — from oceans and wilderness to outer space.

Spanning the earliest journeys to the frontiers of today, the experience places visitors inside the environments, tools, and decisions that have shaped exploration. Stand at the edge of uncharted waters, navigate extreme landscapes, and encounter the technologies that have expanded human reach.

Visitors move through a series of dynamic environments—sea, land, industrial innovation, and beyond—tracing how exploration has evolved and what it means today. At the center is a powerful idea: there is no single path, but we all need direction.

The experience culminates in a simple question: How do you choose to explore?

The Experience

  • Immersive entry portal that sets the tone

  • 360° intro environment featuring Earth, extremes, and space

  • Central Compass Room — the symbolic and physical heart of the exhibition

  • Four themed environments:

    • Seas — instinct & adaptation

    • Industry — machines & expansion

    • Land — skill & survival

    • Beyond — technology & space frontiers

  • Final space that brings the journey back to the visitor — revealing the explorer within.

  • Optional interactive “Go Zone” with hands-on challenges and adventure-based activities
